Audit & Assurance

As part of our audit work, we perform all types of audits of financial statements according to national and international principles: statutory, voluntary, and at the request of the regulator. In addition, we cover the full range of audit-related services, from internal audits, through the design and assessment of risk and opportunity management systems, to the assessment of compliance with regulatory requirements.

Secure, expedited, and tailored audit processes help our clients consistently seize opportunities and manage risks. After all, boards, investors, and regulators today demand complete transparency and compatibility in regulatory compliance, accounting, and reporting. Our audit approach focuses on the unique challenges of the financial industry and is supported by state-of-the-art tools. More specifically, we ensure the quality and efficiency of our work by using modern audit software with integrated checklists and sample reports for all types of tests and regulatory issues.

In the case of credit and financial services institutions, as well as capital management companies and investment funds, one of the audit tasks is to carry out checks and investigations on facts that are the focus of regulatory bodies in the context of auditing consolidated and annual reports or legal reporting and rules of conduct in business securities service. These checks and investigations can also be carried out at the specific request of the regulator.

Audit requirements are specified by regulatory standards in further regulations and announcements of national and European regulatory authorities. Based on the regulations, auditors make conclusions about:

  • economic circumstances
  • capital
  • liquidity
  • reporting and legal reporting
  • regulatory scope of consolidation
  • large and multi-million loans
  • reward system
  • business managers and supervisory bodies
  • discovery reports and
  • many other business-related issues.

Our certified auditors have extensive experience in auditing leading companies in the financial sector - in Croatia and abroad. Due to our flat hierarchy, we can quickly adapt to our client's requirements, develop individual audit strategies and set appropriate priorities for our risk-oriented audit.

To ensure quality, we have assigned each employee in our audit department to one of our focus areas: supervisory law, risk management, compliance, internal audit, and credit operations. Employees in these focus areas participate in a customized training program, are assigned to these areas in the context of their daily work, and can perform audit tasks efficiently and effectively, taking into account current market standards. Our employees have access to constantly updated information on accounting, regulatory legislation, and auditing.
